While kite fishing we will drift off the edge of the reef in about 100ft. to 300 ft. of water in hopes to catch sailfish, dolphin, tuna, wahoo, kingfish and cobia.
Flying a kite and positioning a live bait at the end in the water produces a very natural look for the bait. There are no lines in the water, just the bait. This also allows us to set up more bait. By using the kite lines it spreads the baits out to cover more area. November thru May.
